Ladislow Vargyas, formerly of Pinewood, Ont., passed away Thursday, Jan. 13, 2001 at Middlesex Terrace Nursing Home in Delaware, Ont. in his 90th year.
Loving husband of the late Betty (Vanderploeg) Vargyas; loving father of Jim Vargyas of London, Ont., Helena McKinley and her husband, Ken, of London, Ont., Cathy Van Heyst of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., and Ken Vargyas of Pinewood, Ont.; and dear grandpa of Carrie, Andrew, and Tyler and great-grandpa of Paycen.
Ladislow is the last surviving Vargyas sibling, who were Andrew, Anthony, James, Julianne Fox, Eugene, and Ignace.
Dear brother-in-law of Theresa, Mary, Marie, Albert (Teena), and Judy. Uncle Laci also will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Visitors were received Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011 from 2- 4 p.m. at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home in London, Ont.
A prayer service followed visiting on Sunday at 4 p.m.
Interment in Pinewood Catholic Cemetery in Pinewood, Ont. at a later date.
