KRISTA LEE TURCOTTE

Krista Lee Turcotte, 24, of Thunder Bay, Ont., passed away suddenly Sunday, May 23, 2004.
Krista was born Oct. 8, 1979 in Fort Frances, Ont., and grew up here. She later moved to Thunder Bay, where she was attending Lakehead University to become a nurse.
She enjoyed the company of family and friends. Krista was a people person and when she met someone new, she made friends instantly and anyone who knew her would know that.
She loved to spend quality time with her daughter, Jayde.
She also loved to read, and was a person who took information and used it wisely. She had many friends who confided in her and was always true to her word. She was a person who always found good in everyone.
Krista is survived by her daughter, Jayde Elissa Turcotte; her mother, Sandra Turcotte of Thunder Bay, Ont.; and her father, Kelvin Jourdain of Couchiching First Nation.
Also surviving is her brother, Derek Allen Turcotte of Fort Frances, Ont.; grandparents, Hazel and Salvio Turcotte of Fort Frances; special friend, Brian Lebreche of Thunder Bay, Ont.; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Moses and Regina Jourdain.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 27, 2004 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church at Couchiching First Nation.
A funeral wake will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2004 at 4 p.m. at the Couchiching Bingo Palace on Couchiching First Nation. Vigil prayers will be held at 7 p.m. at the Couchiching Bingo Palace.
Interment will take place in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery at Couchiching First Nation.
The pallbearers will be Jesse Morrisseau, Sandy Bruyere, Jeff (Boddoe) Bruyere, Todd Morrisseau, Darren Turcotte, and David Turcotte.
