Kimberlee Ann (“Kim”) Glueheisen

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our wife, mother, and grandmother, Kimberlee Ann (“Kim”) Glueheisen, 48, of Rainycrest Home for the Aged in Fort Frances, Ont., on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2006.
Kimberlee was born Dec. 22, 1957 in International Falls, Mn. to the late Mavis McDougall and the late Robert Jones.
On Nov. 27, 1976, Kim was united in marriage to Lance Glueheisen. She was a wonderful wife and mother, and enjoyed spending time with her two children, Michael and Christopher, while watching them grow up.
Kim was very family-oriented—an important part of her life. Another big part of her life was her devotion to her spiritual beliefs and considered her Bible one of her best friends.
In past years, Kim owned and operated her own business, “Kim’s Kleaning,” for a period of time.
Throughout her years, she had been a member of Women’s Aglow, an active member of her church and church groups within, and president of the Women’s Christian Club.
She also was predeceased by her grandmother, Mildred Torfin.
Kim is survived by her husband, Lance Glueheisen; two sons, Michael Glueheisen and Nicole Shoemaker, and Christopher Glueheisen and wife, Gabrielle, and grandson, Jonah, all of Fort Frances, Ont.
Also surviving are one step-sister, Pamela and husband, Ed, of Tacoma, Wash.; and mother- and father-in-law, Milton and Betty Glueheisen, several nieces and nephews, and good friends, Bill and Rose York, of Fort Frances, Ont.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006 at 1 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, with Rev. Jeff Plett officiating.
Interment will take place in Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances.
Friends may visit with family on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2006 from 7-9 p.m. at Green Funeral Home.
