On June 19, 2000, Ken Svoboda, 64, of Kamloops, B.C., passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer.
Ken is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sheila; four sons, William (Patty) and Shane (Debbie), all of Fort Frances, Ont., and Robert and Jack (Cindy), all of Kamloops, B.C.; six grandchildren; his mother, Elizabeth; brother, Tony; and sister, Ella.
Ken enjoyed spending his time in and around airplanes, although his biggest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. He was a loving son, brother, father, and grandfather, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service was conducted Friday, June 23, 2000 at 11 a.m. in the Schoening Funeral Chapel in Kamloops.
