Kenneth Howard Moore passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 in Winnipeg, Man.
He is survived by Violet (Petriuk), his beloved wife of 64 years; two daughters, Kathleen (Ray) and Susan; as well as granddaughters, Lindsay, Nichole, and Claire.
He also is survived by his sister, Linda (Bob); and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Howard and Beulah; brothers, Lorne and Jack; and nephew, Michael.
Ken was born on May 1, 1932 in Deloraine, Man.
At age 17, he began a successful career with Beaver Lumber that spanned over 30 years, starting in Melita, Man. and ending in Rainy River, Ont.
Following this, Ken worked several years as a customs officer in Rainy River.
Ken has requested that no service be held.
Internment will take place at a later date.
