The family sadly announces the passing of Ken Cone, 83, of Mine Centre, Ont., on Friday, March 25, 2011 at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont. surrounded by his family and friends.
Ken enjoyed playing the accordion for family and friends and doing mechanic work, as well as flying his airplane.
Ken also loved being in the country and the outdoors.
Ken will be sadly missed by his daughters, Elizabeth (Marshall) Coull and Wendy (Blaine) Madore; grandchildren, Jeff (Debbie), Coralie (Tom) Ryan, and Kyle (fiancée Lindsay); great-grandchildren Josh, Kaeleigh, Gavin, and Paige; and his extended family, Evie (Gerrald Hartlin) and Suzie (Roy Sigurdson) and their families.
Ken also is survived by his brother, Russell (Helene) Cone Jr., and sister, Gwen (Cecil) Saville, and their families.
He was predeceased by his parents, Russell and Lelah; his wife of 35 years, Marvelle Cone (2010); and his former spouse, Writa (Chookie) Cone.
As per Ken’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
