With great sadness the family announces the passing of Keith at Beacon Hill Lodge at the age of 82 years.
Keith grew up on a farm in Emo, Ontario, until his graduation from high school where he moved to pursue his career with CIBC in Winnipeg. He was transferred quite often and made friends wherever he went. He worked for CIBC for 32 years and continued with other jobs after he retired to keep himself busy.
Keith loved to play sports and was a competitive player in any game he played. He played golf, baseball, curling, and lawn darts. Keith also played a family card game called smear and the games often became very lively.
Keith was very active in community groups. He was a Kinsmen, a Rotary member, member of the Legion, and active in the Transcona Memorial United Church.

Keith was happiest around his beloved campfires with family and friends. Keith and Geri spent the last 16 years at Great Woods Campground, and you often could see him driving around on his golf cart. Dad volunteered at campground activities many times.
Keith enjoyed travelling, especially taking ocean cruises, and going to warm destinations.
Keith seemed indestructible as he managed to overcome his many health issues over the years and his tendency to be a little accident prone.
Keith will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Geri of 61 years; daughters Donna (Bruce) and Debbie (Roger); also by his grandchildren Alex (Cord), Darian (Bryce), Brianne and Jordan. He will be missed by his brother Fred and sister Joan (Gerald); and by many family members and friends.
He was predeceased by his mother Margaret and father Lloyd.
The celebration of life will be August 31, 2022. It will take place at the Transcona Legion and will be a come and go between 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
