It is with deep sorrow to announce the passing of our mother, wife, and grandmother, Kather-ine Renee Tupper (nee Friesen), on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2004.
She was born March 13, 1930.
She was predeceased by her parents, Klaas and Maria Friesen; and the father of her six boys, Wil-fred Bird.
She has three daughters, Susan Bingham of Winnipeg, Sheila Waren of Alberta, and Karen Walton of Alberta; and six sons, Robert of Prince George, B.C., Gordon (Hilda) of Prince George, B.C., Richard of Windsor, Ont., Kevin of Vancouver, B.C., Kelly of Alberta, and Duane of Vegreville, Alta, She also is survived by her husband, Danny Tupper, plus many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her Aunt Gertie; uncles; plus many cousins, C.B. friends (her C.B. handle was “Nibbles”), close friends, and her pets.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Feb. 27, 2004 at 7 p.m. at St. John’s Anglican Church in Fort Frances, Ont., with Fr. Wayne Mc- Intosh officiating.
