In loving memory of Kaden Mathew Friday, who passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2006 in Fort Frances, Ont.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Jennifer Friday; siblings, Jennessa and Brayden; great-grandparents, Bud and Jessie Friday; grandparents, Thomas George and Valerie Friday; aunts, Ginette George, Tammy George, Brenda Friday, and Elda Ruby; uncle, Wayne Ruby Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A traditional burial ritual was held Saturday, July 1, 2006 in the morning at the Seine River Band Hall in Seine River First Nation, Ont.
Elder George Boshkaykin officiated, with burial in THE Seine River First Nation Cemetery in Seine River First Nation.
The pallbearers were Larry Friday and Steve Mainville Jr.
Do not stand at my grave and weep: I am not there.
I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow; I am the diamond glints on snow; I am the sunlight on ripened grain; I am the gentle autumn’s rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there. I did not die!
