JUNE McGILL

June McGill passed away peacefully on Friday, May 1, 2015 at the Middlechurch Personal Care Home.
Mom will be missed by her sons, Dale (Diane), Dwight (Di), and Marvin (Marlene); sisters, Janice Andrews and Gwenn Barker; grandchildren, Christine (Neal) and Michael (Terri-Lynn); and great-grandchildren, Emma, Colby, Olivia, and Amelia.
Mom was predeceased by her loving husband, Stan; brother, Harvey; and parents, Percy and Eileen Barker.
Mom was born June 3, 1930 on the family farm in Box Alder, Ont.
She met Stanley and married on Aug. 28, 1948, moving to Winnipeg, Man. in 1968.
Mom was employed at Eaton’s for many years, and then Alia in Garden City until she was 73 years old.
She was a long-time member of the East Kildonan Lioness Club.
In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
