Malfridur “Julia” Reinson, of Bow Island, Alta., beloved wife of the late Robert Reinson, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 at the age of 92.
Julia leaves to cherish her memory her five children, Mona De Gagné of Foremost, Alta., Colleen (Barrie) Korf of Airdrie, Alta., Rodney Reinson of Winnipeg, Man., Tyler Reinson (Lori Drennan) of Fort Frances, Ont., and Wyatt (Maxine) Reinson of Brandon, Man.; eight grandchildren, Regina De Gagné, Lucas (Lindy) De Gagné, Rhien (Debi) De Gagné, Darren Korf, Tamara (Bryan) Wright, and Austin Reinson, Kyndall Reinson, and Taylor Reinson; two step-grandchildren, Sara and Jake; and 12 great-grandchildren, Braxton, Jeremie, Mathew, Nicolas, Christopher, Hailey, Mason, Brady, Jayden, Ethan, Cohen, and Lincoln.
She also is survived by one sister, Olive Kosher; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Julia was predeceased by her husband, Robert Reinson; parents, Hallgrimur Josephson and Carlotta Jensen; brothers, Larry Jensen and Ernie Jensen; two sisters-in-law, Lorene Jensen and Natalie Jensen; one brother-in-law, Bill Kosher; one son-in-law, Rene De Gagné; and one daughter-in-law, Debbie Reinson.
Julia was born on July 4, 1923 in Elfros, Sask. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and volunteer work for various organizations.
Julia loved being a homemaker and spending time with her family.
A private family time of remembrance will be held at a later date.
