Julia (Korb) Wilson passed away Friday, Oct. 9, 2015 at her residence at Rainycrest Long-Term Care in Fort Frances, Ont.
She was born Jan. 15, 1920 in Mor, Hungary.
She was married to Cleveland James Wilson on June 7, 1938 and made a home for their children, Betty Robinson, Bob, and Don in Roddick, Ont.
Julia was well-known for her beautiful gardens, ceramics, knitting, crocheting, cooking, and her involvement in 4-H, and always will be remembered for her “no thank-you” helpings.
She was the oldest of seven children.
Julia was predeceased by her parents, Antol and Terizia Korb; husband, Cleve Wilson; brother, Tony Korb; sister, Teresa; daughter-in-law, Marg Wilson; and son-in-law, Gord Robinson.
She is survived by her children, Betty Robinson, Bob Wilson, and Don Wilson; brothers and sisters, Mary Frehse, Margaret Beninger, Franke, and Reuben Korb; grandchildren, Darryck Robinson, Ann (John) Craig, and Tylar (Missy) Wilson; great-grandchildren, Chelsey Craig, Libby Wilson, Colton Craig, and Katie and Kristina Brunet; great-great-granddaughter, Bristol Moen; and great-great-grandson, Malakai Brunet.
She also is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Oct. 16, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, with Rev. Barbara Miller officiating.
Cremation has taken place and interment will be held in Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances.
