JOYCE RAE KURCEBA
A celebration to honour the life of Joyce Kurceba (nee McCreedy) will be held Monday, June 9, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, 220 Helmsdale Ave.
Joyce passed away April 25, 2008 at the Riverview Health Centre after a lengthy illness at the age of 79.
Unfortunately, just shortly after Joyce’s passing, her daughter, Marilyn Ann Manuel, succumbed to cancer (May 23, 2008).
Joyce was predeceased by her father, William; mother, Mary; brothers, Johnny and Bobby; sister, Jean (Hanson); daughter-in-law, Margaret Kurceba; and brother-in-law, Bill Kurceba.
Remaining to cherish her memory are husband, Alex; son, Sandy (Maura); son-in-law, Graham Manuel; daughter, Michele (Kerry) Darragh; and grandchildren, Jacyln, Amelia, Shannon, Kelsey, and Brad and Debbie Darragh.
Also surviving are her sister, Marilyn Gayle (Richard) LePage; brothers, Russell (Shirley) and Allan (Mary) McCreedy; and sister-in-law, Janet Kurceba.
Joyce was a good friend and mother who was full of life, wit, and humour. Her creative talents produced many special pieces that will be forever treasured.
