Joseph Paul Lambert

Joseph Paul Lambert, 83, of 425 Nelson St., Fort Frances, Ont., passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2000 at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances.
He was born April 4, 1917 in Rainy River, Ont. to the late Charles and Marceline Lambert.
Mr. Lambert had lived all his life in the district, and had worked for many years with the Canadian National Railway. He was an avid curler and member of the Fort Frances Curling Club, and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #29 in Fort Frances.
He also enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, and spending time at the lake.
Paul was united in marriage Oct. 13, 1939 to the former Alyce Wonser, who survives with their three children, Ken and wife, Sally, of Kelowna, B.C., Sharlene and husband, Murray Beninger, of Fort Frances, and ReNae and husband, Randy Moran, of Kenora.
Also surviving are five grandchildren, Tana and husband, Mel Langtry of Fort Frances, Rochelle and husband, Darcy Mosbeck, of Fort Frances, Murray Beninger of Fort Frances, Michelle Moran of Whistler, B.C., and Mark Moran of Kenora; four great-grandchildren, Taylor Langtry, Jillian Langtry, Ryan Mosbeck, and Tyler Mosbeck, all of Fort Frances; two sisters, Florence Couture of Winnipeg, Man., and Lorraine and husband, Doug Giles, of Rainy River: one brother, Joseph Lambert and wife, Alice, of Fort Frances; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Marceline; brother, Emile Lambert; and grandson, Paul Beninger.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
