John Yuill, of Red Rock, Ont., who was born Sept. 14, 1926 in Emo, Ont., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002 at the Ottawa Heart Institute.
He was predeceased by his parents, George and Annie; and one brother, Alex.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Alphild; five children, Terry, Brenda (Jorma), Ken (Jean), Sharon (Jim), and Donald; five grandchildren, Kristin (Scott), Shanna, Scott (Maren), Dale, and Jordan; and one great-grandchild, Kaija.
Also surviving are two sisters, Lil Dimit (Charles) and Alice Niskala (John); one brother, Tom (Marlene); one brother-in-law, Gordon Bowman (Rita); and two sisters-in-law, Sylvia Bovair and Freda Yuill.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, Feb. 21, 2002 at 2 p.m. at St. Peter’s Church in Red Rock.
In memoriam donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or to the Nipigon District Memorial Hospital in Nipigon, Ont.
