JOHN SELMER HALVERSON

John Selmer Halverson passed away peacefully, at the age of 88, on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Dryden Regional Health Centre in Dryden, Ont.
He was born July 22, 1926 in Rainy River, Ont. to Oscar and Greta Halverson.
His various work included logging, Thunder Bay grain ships, and guiding. One of his greatest pleasures was of nature.
He was a kind and gentle person, who was loved very much.
Selmer was predeceased by his parents; sister, Alice; son-in-law, Roy; and precious daughter, Carolyn.
He is survived by his loving wife, Esther; children, June, Alvina, Ben, and Phyllis; son-in-law, Bert; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, William; and sister, Selma.
As per Selmer’s wishes, there will be no service.
We will miss you, Dad.
