JOANNE ROSE MOORE

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend, Jo-Anne Moore, 65, of Fort Frances, Ont.
She passed away peacefully in the early-morning hours on Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, with her family by her side, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Jo-Anne was born Sept. 30, 1945 in Fort Frances to the late Louis and Josette Perrault.
She also was predeceased by her brothers, Ted, Randy, Brian, and Rudolph; sisters, Darlene, and Caroline; and nephews, Teddy Jr., and Preston Perrault.
She is survived by her children, Bill, Anita (John) of Norwood, Ont., Daniel (Debbie) of Fort Frances, Ont., Roberta of Calgary, Alta., Michelle (Barry) of Fort Frances, Ont., Joanna (Lee) of Fort Frances, Ont., and Jim of Winnipeg, Man.
She also is survived by her siblings, Jerry Perrault (Manitoulin Island), Sidney Perrault (Superior, Wis.), Keith Perrault (Fort Frances, Ont.), Leslie Perrault (Toronto, Ont.), Darrel Perrault (Thunder Bay, Ont.), and Eleanor Lockman (Fort Frances, Ont).
She also is survived by her aunt, Dorothy Cargill (Fort Frances, Ont.) and uncle, Patrick Perrault (Kenora, Ont.); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Jo-Anne worked at various tourist camps starting at a young age. She enjoyed playing cards and Bingo, knitting, being with friends and family, and listening to country music. She also loved to be on the lake and all outdoor activities.
She was known for her quick wit and good sense of humour.
A traditional wake will be held Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010 at the multi-use facility at Couchiching First Nation starting at 4 p.m.
 Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the multi-use facility at Couchiching First Nation, with Gilbert Smith officiating.
Interment will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery at Couchiching First Nation.
The pallbearers will be Edwin Natawance, Brad Windego, Chris Mainville, Clayton Windego, Robert Perreault, and Gilbert Perreault.
The honourary pallbearers will be Jerry Perreault, Keith Perrault, Sidney Perrault, Leslie Perrault, Darrel Perreault, Marcella Desrosiers, and Logan Morrisseau.
