JOAN F. FOSTER

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Joan Fay Foster (Morvel), of Emo, Ont., on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011 at the Emo Health Centre.
Joan was born Nov. 22, 1933 in Fort Frances, Ont. to the late Harold and Alice Morvel.
Joan was married Dec. 24, 1952 to Don, who survives her along with their two sons, Donnie (Tammi) of Emo, Ont. and Jimmie Dean of Fond du Lac, Wis.
Also left to cherish her life are her grandchildren, Bridget, Gary (Cheryl), Steven, Brittany, and Jonathan; and great-grandchildren, Sydney, Ashlyn, Jameson, and Isabella.
Joan also leaves behind her sister, Betty (Lyle); sister-in-law, Dorothy (Bill); brother-in-law, Pete; and sister-in-law, Evelyn (Dan); as well as many other close friends and family.
Joan was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Alice Morvel; sister-in-law Doris, Foster; and brother-in-law, Don Holmgren.
Joan and Don operated their business (Fosters Center) at Clearwater Lake until they moved to Emo in 1988.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Christian Reformed Church in Emo with Pastor John Vanderburgh officiating. Reception to follow at the church.
The honourary pallbearers were Arlyle Ellis, Betty Martin, Linda Mann, Diane Fortier, Helen Tompkins, Lois LaBelle, Mavis Helseth, and Carla Basaraba.
