Jeanette Christine Mondor, 47, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001 at La Verendrye Health Centre, with her loving family and friends at her bedside.
Jeanette was born to Albert and Evelyn Bedard on June 29, 1954, and lived in Fort Frances, Ont. all her life, making her home at 415 Third St. W.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald “Vincent” Mondor; two children and one grandson, sons, Justin (Natalie) and grandson, Nikolas Albert, of Toronto, Ont., and Ronald “Junior” (Heather) of Fort Frances, Ont.
Jeanette also will be sadly missed by her mother, Evelyn Bedard; sisters, Charlene (Harry) Bazylewski, Brenda (Chuck) Mc-Pherson, and Diane (Wes) Caul; brothers, Allan (Laura) Bedard, Leonard Bedard, Albert (Lori) Bedard Jr., Victor (May) Bedard, Thomas (Barb) Bedard, and Randy (Brenda) Bedard; and several nieces and nephews.
She also is survived by her father-in-law, Jean Marie Mondor; mother-in-law, Martha and stepfather-in-law, Denis Deom; sister-in-law, Linda (Garry) Wasserlein; brothers-in-law, Robert Mondor, Richard (Suzanne) Mondor, and Daniel Mondor; stepbrother-in-law, Steve Deom; brother-in-law, Werner Krebb; and several nieces and nephews.
She also will be sadly missed by her close friend, Rhonda Boldero.
Jeanette was predeceased by her father, Albert Bedard in 1999; brother, Ronald Wayne Bedard in 1979; and sister-in-law, Lorraine Krebb in 1995.
Jeanette always will be remembered as a very compassionate and caring person who gave of herself unconditionally. She will be sadly missed, loved, and always remembered.
Friends may visit with the family Friday, Nov. 30, 2001 from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, with vigil prayers being held at 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 1, 2001 at 10 a.m. at Green Funeral Home. Father Eugene Whyte O.M.I. will officiate, with interment in Riverview Cemetery.
Jeanette’s wishes are to be “tucked in” by her loving husband, Ronald Mondor, son, Justin and Natalie Mondor, son Ronald “Junior” Mondor, Heather Bell, and Brenda McPherson, with honourary pallbearers Dr. R.W. Nugent, Rhonda Boldero, Violet Kocuiba, Nikolas Mondor, and Jeanette’s entire family.
