It is with great sadness that the family of Janice Maxine Haglund announces her peaceful passing, with her family by her side, on Wednesday, April 11, 2012.
Janice was born July 18, 1952 in New Westminster, B.C. to Ingval and Roxanne Fagerdahl.
Janice lived for many years in Manitoba and being an excellent cook, spent most of her working career in the food service industry.
After moving to Fort Frances, Ont. six years ago, she worked at The Bargain Shop—a job she loved. She enjoyed working with her supervisor, Darcy Banman, and all of the staff. She particularly liked getting to know the customers.
Janice loved her children and grandchildren, as well as music, animals (especially dogs), nature, daisies, and latch-hooking. Her easy smile, humour, strength, and kindness towards everyone will always be remembered.
Janice was predeceased by her husband, Paul and her parents, Ingval Fagerdahl and Roxanne Cole.
She is survived by her children, Rob (Kirsten), Derek, and Jennifer (Brian) and her four grandchildren, Jaden, Brooke, Rayla, and Aspen; sisters, Joyce Clarke (Paul) and Betty-Lou Hambrock (Michael); brother, Jim Kozik; as well as four nieces, one nephew, her cousins, and her friend, Linda Kozik.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
