JANET PERREAULT

Janet Agnes Perreault (Aaptawegiizhigook), 82, of Couchiching First Nation, Ont., passed away Friday, Aug. 17, 2012 at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont.
Janet was born Nov. 9, 1929 at Frog Creek to the late Albert and Dora Morrison, and had lived in the district all her life.
She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, doing word find puzzles, going to the casino, and spending time outdoors.
She was a very kind person who would do anything for anyone if she was able. She also was a dedicated and loyal Toronto Maple Leafs’ fan.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, and was very proud of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild.
Janet will be sadly missed by her children, James Perreault Jr. and daughters, Janice Carmody and special friend, Bill Williams, and Jocelyn (Steve) Johnson.
Also left to cherish her memory are several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Dora Morrison; her husband, James Perreault Sr.; two sons, Joey and Merle Perreault; daughter, Jean Archie; and grandson, Dennis Perreault.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, with Rev. Mr. Bob Grynol officiating.
Friends visited with the family on Monday, Aug. 20, 2012 from 7-8 p.m. at Green Funeral Home.
Cremation has taken place, and a private family graveside service will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
The honourary pallbearers were all of Janet’s grandchildren.
