Janet Ellen Ronning, 57, of Rainycrest Home for the Aged, Fort Frances, Ont,, formerly of Rainy River, Onta., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006 at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances.
Janet was born Jan. 8, 1949 in Rainy River to the late Conrad and Lorna Ronning. She grew up in Rainy River with her parents, who operated a tourist camp called the Moose and Muskie Lodge on Lake of the Woods.
Left to cherish her memory is Audree Paulson, the mother of Tom, Don, and Kriss, and their families; niece, Melissa and nephew, Terry, and their families; Auntie Bessie Ball; and cousins, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
She also will be sadly missed by her friends and the staff at Rainycrest Home for the Aged.
She was predeceased by her parents, Conrad and Lorna; brothers, Edward, Thomas and Danny; and Auntie Mina Bell.
A memorial service will be held at a later date, followed by interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Rainy River.
