James Thomas Hinkle, 71, passed away July 9, 2012 in Sebring, Fla.
He was a native of Wauseon, Ohio, moving to Sebring in 1984 from Fort Frances, Ont. by way of Minnesota.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He also was a banker, owner of Jim’s Central Shell on Scott Street, manager of Biddy’s Yellow Cabs, and quite famous locally for his fishing prowess.
In Florida, he was service manager for Blackman Ford, safety director for Smoak Groves, and a paralegal both for Andrew Jackson and independently.
He also was a member of First Assembly of God in Sebring.
James is survived by his wife, Judith; son, James Jr. of Arizona; daughter, Andra Vaughn of Minnesota; brother, William of Texas; grandson; Bryan (Christine) Hinkle; three great-grandsons; and many friends.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 11 a.m. at First Assembly of God.
