James Norman Delaurier passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026, at the age of 85, surrounded by his family.
He was predeceased by his parents Albert Delaurier and Engelina (Bruneau) Delaurier; his brother Romeo Delaurier; his sister Diane Zdep and her husband Bill; and his sister Maryanne Dutka and her husband Ed Dutka.
James is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife Sylvia Delaurier (Spuzak); his daughter Michelle Basisty (Delaurier), and her children Kelly and Christopher Basisty; and his daughter Nadine Hilton (Delaurier), her husband Trevor Hilton, and their children Taylor Eikum (Seth Lapre) and Kyle Eikum.
James will be remembered for his love of family and the quiet strength and presence he brought to those around him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and cherished memories that will live on through his family.
He will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
