JAMES EDWARD (JIM) ARMSTRONG

James Edward (Jim)
ARMSTRONG
May 17, 1950 – July 29, 2013
He struggled with life after being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 13 years.
Jim lived his entire life in Fort Frances and had enthusiasm for many sports. He especially enjoyed curling, golfing, boating and was an avid pool player.
One of his favourite experiences in his younger years took place when he had the opportunity to “shoot pool” in Bemidji Minnesota with Willie Mosconi, who was the world champion. One of his exciting hobbies was treasure hunting for antiques!
He loved the summers spent at his cabin at Reef Point and always looked forward to his winters in Mexico.
Jim was successful in many business ventures.
His greatest passion in life was for his children Trina and James, and happiest times were spent with family and friends.
