With a heavy heart we say goodbye to a great man, James Bryan Melanson, who passed away suddenly at his Waterloo, Ont. residence on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015 at the age of 64.
He was born in 1951 to Paul and Margaret Melanson.
Bryan was the loving father of Maryse Melanson and stepfather of Thomas, Daniel, and Tamara, and spouses; dear grandfather to Quinton, Owen, and Nicholas; and dear son of Margaret Melanson.
He also is survived by his siblings, Ross Melanson (Cora) and Michelle Beaushene (Dave).
Bryan also will be remembered by his former spouse, Alison Crowdis (Patrick Schnarr) and be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews.
Bryan was predeceased by his father, Paul Melanson.
Friends were invited to share their memories of Bryan with his family during a memorial visitation on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015 from 7-9 p.m. at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home (171 King St. S. in Waterloo).
A memorial service was held there Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015 at 11 a.m., with a reception following in the Fireside Room.
