JACK EASTON

Jack Easton passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Riverside Health Care Facilities, Inc. on Sunday, Aug. 29, 2004.
Jack was born in Rainy River, Ont. on June 6, 1919.
He was married June 22, 1943, to Barb Henderson, who survives along with their five children, Jim (Donna) of Boissevain, Man., Dawn (Lorne) Hayes of Atikokan, Ont., Cindy (Hal) Fjeldsted of Kirkland Lake, Ont., and Bill (Jeanette) Easton and Laurel (Allan) Basaraba, all of Fort Frances, Ont.
Jack had a special place in his heart for his 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Throughout his life, Jack was an avid curler and golfer, and loved to watch and play sports of all kinds.
Cremation has taken place and at Jack’s request, no service will be held.
The family invites friends to join them for refreshments on Friday, Sept. 3, 2004 from 2-4 p.m. at the Fort Frances Volunteer Bureau, Suite 1, 140 Fourth St. W.
