ISAAC PRINCE

The family of Isaac Prince announces his passing on March 10, 2025, in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Isaac was born in Kenora on July 9, 1946, to Margaret Mosher (Prince) and Albert John Wilson.

He is remembered by his sons Darren and Ian and daughters Tanya and Jennifer. Isaac also leaves behind three grandsons and five granddaughters, and numerous other relatives.

Isaac spent many years working in the auto industry. He was an avid sports enthusiast, particularly fond of hockey, and was a dedicated fan of the Winnipeg Jets. He loved fishing and guiding and had a love for the horses and casinos.

Honoured pallbearers included Vincent (Scoppy) Kelly, Lorraine Shebahkeget, Norman (Mike) Copenace, Ron Kelly, Gus Copenace, and Norman Copenace.

A wake was held on Sunday, March 16, at 4:00 p.m. in Onigaming First Nation. The funeral was held on Monday, March 17, at 10:00 a.m., supported by Elder Gilbert Smith, with burial to follow at the Onigaming First Nation Cemetery.
