INGEBORG FRITZEMEIER

Ingeborg Fritzemeier, 88, of Emo, Ont., passed away Monday, Jan. 22, 2001 at her residence. She was born Jan. 20, 1913 in Sonderborg, Denmark to the late Nichalas and Anna Hansen.
Mrs. Fritzemeier came to Canada in 1952. She had lived in several places until moving to Emo in 1981, where she had lived since. She enjoyed reading and doing embroidery but spending time with Hans, her husband of 61 years, and her family was her joy in life.
Ingeborg was united in marriage Oct. 28, 1939 to Hans Fritzemeier, who survives along with her daughter, Gerd O’Sullivan of Emo, Ont.
Also surviving are four grandchildren, Deirdre of Emo, Ont., Timothy and wife, Laurie, of Kinmount, Ont., James and wife, Sandra, of Emo, Ont., and Anne and husband, Ben Kohn, of Vancouver, B.C.; and seven great-grandchildren, Tara, Maia, Danielle, Sarah, Johannes, Beatrice, and Francesca.
Also surviving are one sister, Grethe and husband, Willy Petersen, of Denmark; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews, all living in Denmark.
She was predeceased by her parents, Nichalas and Anna Hansen; four sisters; three brothers; and son-in-law, Dr. John O’Sullivan.
Memorial services will be held Friday, Feb. 2, 2001 at 2 p.m. at St. George’s Anglican Church in Emo, with Eileen Bragg officiating.
