HERMAN WILLIAM GREEN

Herman William Green passed away suddenly Wednesday, Aug. 5, 1998 at 38 years of age.
He was predeceased by his parents, Annie Woodhouse and Charles Green; sisters Rhea Green and Pearl Green, and brother Johnny Green.
Herman is survived by his wife Pamela Cyr, and children Chris (15), Sheena (14), Heidi (13), Deanne (13), Christine (12), Shane (seven), Jonah (two), and Christian (one); brothers Jimmie Green (Laura), Freddie Green (Nancy), Charles Green and Bobby Green (Catherine); sisters Verna Redsky (Ronnie), and Diane and Annie Green; aunt Nancy Chaboyer; uncles Andrew Green and Nelson Green; and stepfather Albert Woodhouse; and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
Herman was born on April 30, 1960 in Shoal Lake #40 First Nation Ont. He left his reserve to be with the one he loved, Pam Cyr, of Northwest Bay First Nation. Herman was very talented in many ways, and had a special gift in making and inventing crafts, and loved playing his guitar which he treasured. Herman also loved listening to Christian music, and he loved reading about testimonies for Christ. Herman loved spending time entertaining his children, and was a friend to everyone who knew him. He was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone. Herman will be truly missed by everyone that knew him.
Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 10, 1998 at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Kenora, Ont. Reverend Henry Hildebrandt officiated with interment in Lake of the Woods Cemetery in Kenora, Ont.
A wake was held Sunday evening from 6 p.m. at the Fellowship Centre in Kenora, Ont.
Honourary pallbearers were Jimmy Green, Freddie Green, Richard Green, Dwayne Anderson, Ferman Yutzy, Dan Borntrager, and Chris Jack.
Pallbearers were Mark Mandamin, Brennan Wapioke, Clayburn Green, Jeffrey Green, Erwin Redsky, and Marvin Redsky.
