HERMAN WILHELM MYRBERG

Herman Wilhelm Myrberg, 57, of 1300 Fifth St. E., Fort Frances, Ont., passed away Tuesday, June 23, 1998 at La Verendrye General Hospital. He was born Feb. 28, 1941 in Emo, Ont.
Herman moved to Fort Frances in 1977, and had worked as a slasher operator for a number of different pulpwood employers. He enjoyed the outdoors and enjoyed his time spent in the bush.
Most of all, though, his family, especially his grandchildren, were most important to him.
Herman was united in marriage on Aug. 5, 1977 to the former Edith Dokuchie, who survives. Also surviving are six daughters, Tracey Myrberg of Fort Frances, Ont., Julie and husband, Albert Melnychuk, of British Columbia, Sherry Myrberg and Armand Martell of Atikokan, Ont., Rhonda Myrberg and Darren King of Atikokan, Ont., Sandy and husband, Dennis Ice, of International Falls, Mn., and Charmaine and husband, Brock Herbert, of Fort Frances, Ont.; three sons, Brad Dokuchie and wife, Julie, of Thunder Bay, Ont., Dale Dokuchie and wife, Carolyne, of Fort Frances, Ont., and Jerome Dokuchie and wife, Patricia, of Thunder Bay, Ont.; his mother, Grita Myrberg; and grandchildren, Bobbie and Cody Melnychuk, Shane Myrberg, Tanya Myrberg, Ryan McMillan, John Haas, Jeff, Danielle Herbert, and Dylan and Janelle Ice.
He was predeceased by an infant son, Brian Herman Myrberg, in 1962.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 26, 1998 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church. Father Joseph Kane O.M.I. will officiate, with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Friends may visit Thursday evening, June 25, 1998 from 7 until 8 p.m. at Green Funeral Home. Prayers will be offered at 7:30 p.m. at Green Funeral Home.
