Henry ‘Hank’ Hill

Henry (Hank) Hill, 78, passed away Friday, Feb. 1, 2002. He was born July 1,1923 in Burriss, Ont.
Henry served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II. After the war, he returned to Toronto, Ont., where he worked for many years at John Inlas Co. Ltd.
He was an avid sports fan who loved the Toronto Maple Leaf and Blue Jays.
In 1972, he married Sophie Mital and moved to Selkirk, Man. He worked for the Selkirk school board as a maintenance man until he retired in 1988.
He was predeceased by his wife, Sophie; and his parents, William and Anne Hill.
Henry will be sadly missed by his sister, Evelyn Brown of Devlin, Ont.; his brother, Hubert (Mike) Hill of Belleville, Ont.; and his nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 8 at 11 a.m. at Gilbert Funeral Home in Selkirk.
