Word has been received that Helen Toth, a former resident of Fort Frances, Ont., passed away at the Grace Hospital in Winnipeg, Man. on March 29, 1999.
She was predeceased by her husband, Bela, in July, 1994.
She was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1909. After the Second World War, the Toths lived in England for a number of years.
Helen emigrated to Canada in 1995 and joined her husband, who was town electrical engineer in Fort Frances during the 1950s and 1960s. Early in 1983, Bela and Helen moved to Winnipeg, where they resided since leaving Fort Frances.
At her request, her remains will be cremated and her ashes sent to a niece in Hungary for burial.
