In loving memory of Helen Pretty, 80, of Rainycrest Home for the Aged, 550 Osborne St., Fort Frances, Ont., who passed away peacefully Friday, Feb. 16, 2001 at her home.
Helen was predeceased by her husband, Irwin; parents, William and Edna Westover; sister, Iva; and brothers, Jim and Bill.
She leaves behind her daughters, Donna Jean Patola of Winnipeg, Man., and Lynda and her husband, Terry Fogle, of Orange Beach, Alabama; granddaughter, Sunday of Vancouver, B.C.; sister, Margaret Westover; and brothers, Don, Milt, and Fred Westover.
Helen was born Nov. 1, 1920 in Barwick, Ont. She was united in marriage to Irwin in 1946 and together they raised their family in Thunder Bay, Ont. In 1999, due to her failing health, she moved to Rainycrest Home for the Aged to be closer to family.
Helen enjoyed her home and garden, and bowled for many year with The Silver Bells in Thunder Bay.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 19, 2001 at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances. Pastor Brian Keffer officiated, with interment in Riverside Cemetery in Thunder Bay.
