 Helen I. Wekner passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont.
    She is survived by her husband, Alvin, of 55 years; son, Bradley and his wife, Joan; granddaughter, Stephanie; and sister-in-law, Norma Pattison and family.
    Helen was predeceased by her grandson, Sean; and brother, Leslie Pattison.
    As per Helen’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
