HELEN BADIUK

It is with great sadness that the family of Helen Badiuk announces her passing at LaVerendrye General Hospital on Monday May 2, 2005 at the age of 85.
Helen was born on February 6, 1920 to Theodore and Mary Sedor in Sundown, Manitoba. She was raised there on the family farm.
On October 5, 1939 she was united in marriage to Michael Badiuk. Together they moved to the family farm in 1949.
Helen was kept very busy with the farm life and enjoyed the fruits of its labour. She was also a member of the Burriss Ladies Aid.
In 1998 Helen moved to Flinders Apartments, she truly loved her time there with her many friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Theodore and Mary; husband Mike on April 8, 1985; sisters Doreen Belanger and Lina Jamon and brothers John, Bill, George, Nick and Mike.
Helen leaves behind her sons George and wife Irene, Bob and wife Trudy and Ken and wife Kelly all of Devlin; grandchildren Allison, Jackie, Kimberly, Jennifer, Christine, Matthew and Micheal; sister Kay and husband Tony Satkivicius of St. Catherine’s, ON as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Sunday May 8, 2005 from 7 until 9 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, ON.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 9, 2005 at 1 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, ON. Reverend Frances Flook will officiate with interment in the Devlin Cemetery in Devlin, ON.
