HELEN AUDETTE

Helen Audette, 74, of Fort Frances, Ont., passed away suddenly at her home on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014.
She was born May 16, 1939 in Fort Frances to mother, Lena, and step-father, Nick Budko.
She lived in Fort Frances all of her life.
She was united in marriage to Andre Audette on Nov. 21, 1959 and together they started a family. She devoted her life to her husband and children, creating a warm, loving home for them.
The addition of her 10 grandchildren brought her great joy, she loved being their Baba.
When Andre passed away on Oct. 30, 1993, she lost a piece of herself that was never found.
Baba will greatly missed by her children, Rene, Garry (Penny Kuchma), Shelley (Roman Mlynarski), Sheri (Lee) Monahan, Tara (James) Grant, and Kevin (Denise); and 10 grandchildren, Johnathan Monahan, Tanna Audette, Shelby Monahan, Chelsea Audette, Christian Audette, Sadie Perrault, Amber Audette, Mya Hamilton, and Alex and Alasha Perrault.
Also surviving are her brothers, Alex Gawryluk (Verna) and Mike Elyk; brothers-in-law, John and Steve Audette; sisters-in-law, Marie DeGagne, Julie (John) Smits, Helen Nault, and Aili Audette; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Andre; mother, Lena Budko; step-father, Nick Budko; brother, John Elyk; sisters, Mary Boudreau and Dora Elyk; sisters-in-law, Bernice Elyk, Laurette Gawryluk, Lucille Audette, and Alma Haver; and brother-in-law, Bernard Audette.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 31, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances. Pastor Brian Keffer will officiate, with interment in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Fort Frances.
Friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
The pallbearers will be Chelsea Audette, Christian Audette, Johnathan Monahan, Tanna Audette, Lee Monahan, and James Grant.
The honourary pallbearers will be all of Baba’s grandchildren.
