In loving memory of Hazel Vivian MacDonald (nee Hatch), 92, who passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2011 in New Westminster, B.C.
Hazel was born March 30, 1919 in Hines, Mn. to the late David Ryerson Hatch of Burriss, Ont. and Bessie Irene Hatch (Burdick).
She was united in marriage to Gordon Ross MacDonald, of Devlin, Ont., on Nov. 14, 1936 in International Falls, Mn.
Hazel and Gordon moved to New Westminster in 1942.
Hazel was predeceased by her husband, Gordon; daughter, Joyce Crane; two brothers, Earl Hatch and Ronald Hatch; and sister, Shirley Huntley.
She is survived by her daughter, Jeanette (Harold) Owen and grandchildren, Debi (Paul), Alan (Joanne), Shelley (Rob), and Kathy (Rob).
Hazel also is survived by her great-grandchildren, Melissa, Rachel (Andre), Andrew (Kendal), Adam, Kyle, Kristie, Sarah, Nicole, Katelin; and great-great-granchildren, Autumn, Scarlet, Juliet, Faith, and Jackson.
Hazel also is remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at the First Presbyterian Church in New Westminster.
