HAZEL SOPHIA CLARK

Hazel Sophia Clark, 88, of Rainycrest Long-Term Care in Fort Frances, Ont., passed away at her residence on Wednesday, April 7, 2010.
Hazel was born on Friday, Feb. 10, 1922 in Dobie Township, Ont. to the late Frederick and Josephine Clark. She had lived all her life in the district.
She was a member of Knox United Church in Emo, the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #99 in Emo, and the Women’s Institute of Dobie. She also enjoyed playing cribbage, watching sports, fishing, and Bingo.
She was quick-witted, and loved having fun and laughter. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Left to cherish her memory is her brother, Melvin Clark; brother-in-law, Ken Munn; and several nieces and nephews.
Hazel was predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Josephine Clark; three sisters, Dorothy Elliott, Phyllis Munn, and Reta Clark; and her brother, Cecil Clark.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Knox United Church in Emo, with Rev. Frances Flook officiating.
Interment will take place in the Emo Cemetery in Emo at a later date.
Family and friends visited prior to the funeral service on Tuesday at Knox United Church in Emo.
The pallbearers were Les McNally, Stu Bruce, Ken Munn, Terry Munn, Dwight Becker, and Mike Scheibler.
