Mr. Harald Karl Boettcher, 50, of Nipigon, Ont., passed away Monday, Jan. 31, 2011 at his residence.
Harald attended school in Fort Frances, Ont. He worked in the bush, then became a heavy equipment operator.
He was predeceased by his father, Reinhard.
Harald is survived by his mother, Gerda, of Nipigon, Ont.; his children, Jeffrey and Tiffany and their mother, Joanne; and his brother, Ralph (Brenda) of Emo, Ont. and their children,
Tara, and Jacob (Alicia) and their children, Anna, Benjamin, and Julia.
According to Harald’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Grace United Church in Nipigon, with Pastor R. Beyer officiating.
Interment will be in Cliffside Cemetery in Nipigon.
