Gordon Wallace Thomson passed away peacefully at home in Qualicum Beach, B.C. on Oct. 21, 2005, with his wife by his side, after a brief bout with cancer.
He was born May 17, 1921.
Gordon is survived by his wife, Dawn (nee Cameron); brother, Alistair Thomson (Sheila); brother-in-law, Ray Cameron (Sue); sister-in-law, Lynne Cameron; and nieces, nephews, and special nephews, Gary Thomson (Karen), Al Cameron (Shelley), and Joe Cameron (Cindy).
He was predeceased by his brother, Earl Thomson.
Gordon was proud of his military service from 1939-45. He also had an M. Ed. from Lakehead University, was a Mason, Shriner, Past Patron of the Eastern Star, and Past Executive of Bowser Legion Br. #211.
He was involved in many volunteer activities.
A celebration of his life was held Oct. 28, 2005 at Bowser Legion Br. #211.
