It is with profound sadness that the family of Gloria Soderholm announce her passing on August 15, 2025, at La Verendrye Hospital surrounded by her family.
Gloria was born in Fort Frances on August 3, 1957, to Tony and Sis Larocque.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 42 years Terry; her daughter Jamie (Chris) Potter. She also leaves behind three grandchildren. She is also remembered by her brothers Ed Larocque, Emery Larocque, Danny (Fran) Larocque, Norman (Carole) Larocque, Hylas Larocque and Roger Larocque; in-laws Bonnie Larocque, Shirley (Lyle) Smith, Janet Soderholm, Ralph Soderholm, Todd (Becky) Soderholm and Mark Soderholm; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents Tony and Sis Larocque; brother and sister-in-law Ovide and Sharon Larocque; brother Jerry Larocque; sisters-in-law Carol Larocque, Jenny Larocque, and Sharon Larocque; sister Sylvia McLennan; also in-laws Oiva and Mamie Soderholm and brother-in-law Dennis Soderholm.
Gloria loved people, which made her years in customer service easy. Before she retired she worked at Canadian Tire and loved helping people whether she was working or not.
She loved spending time on the lake, whether it was time at the cabin or fishing with her family.
She was a very strong woman who instilled life lessons in her daughter, whom she spent most of her free time with. They loved bingo, shopping and just being together.
A celebration of life will be held at the Fort Frances Royal Canadian Legion on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 1 p.m.
