GLENN JOHNSON

May 13, 1949 – Feb. 17, 2026

The family of Glenn Harold Johnson is saddened to announce his passing on Feb. 17, 2026, in Prince George, B.C., at the age of 76.

Glenn was born in Rainy River and grew up on the family farm in Morson, Ont., where he enjoyed playing fastball, golfing, hunting, fishing, and guiding on “The Ark” on Lake of the Woods. He soon moved to Prince George where he met and married Ginny Lyding from Salmon Arm, B.C. He spent his life as a welder until he retired from Prince George Pulp, often returning to the farm for deer hunting with his dad and brothers which was a highlight for us all.

Glenn is predeceased by his parents Harold and Milly Johnson; grandparents Martin and Selma Johnson, Sam and Nadine Nelson; his infant brother Randy; and his brother-in-law Dan Halvorsen.

He is survived by his sons Denton (Cathy), Steven (Jodi) and Chris (Monica); four grandkids and four step-grandkids Brett, Alivia, Gabe and Jude, and Tyson, Mason, Jaxson and Ayden; also surviving are his siblings Sid (Kathy), Carolyn (Halvorsen), Curt (Lynda), Rob (Janine), Lori (Barry) Robbins, Brenda (Ed) Berard and numerous nieces and nephews.

He will be missed by all.
