GLENN CLAUDE VANDETTE

Glenn Claude Vandette, 53, of Boucher Road, Watten Township, passed away suddenly at his residence on Monday, Dec. 29, 2008.
Glenn was born Jan. 21, 1955 in Hearst, Ont. to the late Claude and Tina Vandette.
Glenn moved to Rainy River District in 1967. He began working for the Boise paper mill in 1976 and was a welder by trade.
He enjoyed travelling with his wife, Michelle, especially to Hawaii. He also loved animals and the outdoors, which included hunting, fishing, and gardening.
He was a great collector of old snowmachines, particularly his “Thunderjet.” He also was known to many people as having “the gift of the gab.”
Glenn is survived by his wife, Michelle Nickel; brother, Dennis (Donna) of Fort Frances, Ont.; and his baby “Kitty.”
Cremation has taken place. According to Glenn’s wishes, there will be no service.
Glenn will be greatly missed by family and friends.
