GLENDA MYRNA ROSE MAINVILLE

Glenda Myrna Rose Mainville, 56, of Couchiching First Nation, Ont., passed away Thursday, Dec. 10, 1998 at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances.
Glenda was born May 1, 1942 in Fort Frances to the late Wilfred and Rosalie Morrisseau. In 1960, she was united in marriage to Roger Mainville.
In the 1970s, Glenda worked as night staff at the Browndale Group Home in Thunder Bay, Ont. In the early 1980s, she moved to Kenora, Ont., where she lived until 1988 when she moved back to Fort Frances.
Glenda was a member of the C.W.L. at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, where she also was a member. She enjoyed playing cards, going to Bingo, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time outdoors. Glenda loved her family, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son, Wade Mainville; and daughter, Pamela Mainville.
Glenda is survived by her husband, Roger Mainville of Couchiching First Nation, Ont.; two sons, Lance Mainville of Couchiching First Nation, Ont., and Warren Mainville and wife, Velda, of Thunder Bay, Ont.; two grandsons, Ryan Mainville and Myles Megan-Mainville; one step-daughter, Darlene and husband, Chris, of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.; two brothers, Donald Morrisseau, and Wilfred Morrisseau and wife, Linda, all of Couchiching First Nation, Ont., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 14, 1998 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church at Couchiching First Nation. Father Ed Kosa O.M.I. officiated, with interment in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery at Couchiching First Nation.
Friends visited Sunday, Dec. 13, 1998 from 7-9 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances. Parish prayers were offered at 7:30 p.m.
Pallbearers were Dennis Bruyere, Gilbert Perreault, Robert Perreault, Shane Guimond, Don Mainville, and Clayton Desrosiers.
Honourary pallbearers were Ria McPherson, Gladys McPherson, Genny Jourdain, Shirley M. Bruyere, Christine Jourdain and Melissa McPherson.,
