GLADYS ELEANOR LUND

Gladys Eleanor Lund passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Rainycrest Long-Term Care in Fort Frances, Ont.
Gladys grew up in Saskatchewan, the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Stephen Knight of Broadview, Sask.
After graduating from high school, she attended and graduated from Success Business College in Winnipeg, Man.
Gladys was a member of Knox United Church and a life-time member of the United Church Women. She was a long-time supporter of the Bible Society, and for 25 years was on the board of the Kenora/Rainy River Lung Association.
Gladys was predeceased by her husband, Erling, in 1959.
She is survived by her stepdaughter and son-in-law, Janet and Jack Buckley of Thunder Bay, Ont.; grandchildren, Ruth (Shawn) McDonald, John (Monica) Buckley, and David Buckley; and three great-grandchildren, Brittany, Jack, and Laura Buckley.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 9, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Knox United Church in Fort Frances, with Rev. Barbara Miller officiating.
