It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerard Lambert on Monday, November 28, 2022.
Gerard was born on October 14, 1924, the first of five boys, born to Armand Sr. and Laura Lambert. He lived all his life in Fort Frances and worked at the paper mill until his retirement.
Gerard was proud member of the Legion and his time in the Navy during WWII. He was also the past president of the Fort Frances Sportsman’s Club. He was also very active in getting the shooting and the skeet range. He was a very active outdoors man and loved to hunt and fish. He was an active hockey fan and hardly ever missed a Laker or Muskie Hockey Game.

In winter, he and his wife Michelin were always cross-country skiing on the Reef Point Trails near his house.
Family was everything to Gerard. He loved nothing more than to see his family enjoy themselves at his cabin. His family will always cherish all the good times we spent together at his lake cabin, especially riding in that old Jalopy down the Reef Point Road before the highway was built.
Gerard was pre-deceased by his wife Michelin (Poulin); his parents Armand Sr. and Laura (Gosselin); and his brothers Leo and Armand Jr.
He is survived by his brother Roy (Betty); brother Norman (Edie); and sister-in-law Beatrice and many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fort Frances on Friday, December 2.
Arrangements entrusted to Northridge Funeral Home, Emo, Ont.
