GERALD PERRON

Gerald Perron, 77, of International Falls, Mn., passed away Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010 at the Virginia Regional Medical Center in Virginia, Mn.
He was born May 3, 1933 to George and Gertrude Perron in Winnipeg, Man.
He was united in marriage to Evelyn (Garrison) Perron in April, 1962, at which time he moved to the United States as a permanent resident.
Gerald worked for the Harbor Board in Churchill, Man. and the Holiday gas station in International Falls before being hired at Boise. He retired in September, 1996 with 32 years in the Beater Room.
He was a life member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Thomas Catholic Church, and was a Boy Scout leader for several years. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, and travelling.
He is predeceased by his parents.
Gerald is survived by his wife, Evelyn; son, David (Beth) Perron; sisters, Yvonne Day and Elaine (Rick) Canfield; brothers, Lawrence (Mary) Perron, Allen (Mary) Perron, Roger Perron, Dennis (Shawna) Perron, Richard (Terri) Perron, and Alex Perron; two grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010 at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church in International Falls.
Interment will be at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery.
