Peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006, George Paulenko left us after a lengthy illness. He was born in 1929.
George will remain in the hearts and prayers of his loving wife, Nora; and daughters, Heather, Jacqueline, and Catherine.
He also will be greatly missed by his sons-in-law, John Caldwell, Mike Cawston, and Richard Van Den Bosch; and cherished grandchildren, Joshua, Brendan, Olivia, and Cristopher.
He was the dear brother of Mary, Vera, Lena, Pearl, Emily, Carol, Shirley, and Billy.
He was predeceased by his parents, Eli and Polly Paulenko; brother, Matt; and sisters, Sylvia and Florence.
Prayers were offered Monday, Oct. 16, 2006 at 8 p.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Fort Frances, Ont. A funeral mass was celebrated on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church.
The family received friends at St. Mary’s Church Hall following the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church Building Fund.
