George Edward Arden, 60, of Fort Frances, Ont., passed away peacefully at the Emo Health Centre in Emo, Ont. on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2004.
George was born June 15, 1943 in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories to Edward and Denice Arden.
He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and trapping. He had worked as a diamond driller and carpenter for various businesses.
George was very devoted to his children, following all of their activities fanatically. He also was very proud of his native heritage.
He leaves behind his wife, LeeAnn; children, Lucas, D’Arcy, Keirra, Etanda, Gordon, Jennifer, and Clifford; grandson, Dene; sisters, Kathy and Stephanie Arden; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
George was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Denice Arden; daughter, Elizabeth; son, Joseph; sister, Norah; and Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Katherine.
Friends are invited to visit with the family Monday, Feb. 23, 2004 at 1 p.m. at the Devlin Hall in Devlin, Ont.
If friends so desire, in memoriam donations may be made in trust for his children.
